Court decisions
On June 14, 2011, Judge Sandra Chapnik of the Ontario Superior Court issued an Order requiring the removal of all of my posts dated April 29, 2011, and May 2, 2011. Failure to comply with her Order would expose me to a proceeding for contempt of court, with imprisonment as the ultimate penalty.
This post consisted entirely of excerpts from decisions of the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, with no references whatsoever to the banned subject.
I had intended to leave the excerpts posted, but the banned subject's lawyers have threatened dire consequences for failing to comply with the Order of Judge Chapnik -- which does say "remove blog postings dated April 29, 2011 and May 2, 2011" -- if I leave the inspiring words of our highest courts on this blog.
I am, therefore, complying with Judge Sandra Chapnik's Order and removing all of this post as well.
